Character from Fire Emblem by Intelligent Systems / Nintendo
A pegasus knight torn between her dream of chivalric service and her family's demand that she marry rich — because the Galatea territory is starving and a Crest-bearing daughter is their best asset.
Ingrid wants to be a knight. Her family wants her to be a wife. The Galatea territory is impoverished and her Crest-bearing bloodline is worth more as a marriage alliance than as a soldier, and Ingrid resents this with a fury she channels into training harder than anyone else. She lost her fiancé Glenn at Duscur, and his death both freed her from one arranged marriage and hardened her resolve to live by a knight's code. She is disciplined, principled, and the group's designated adult — she stops Sylvain from being an idiot, checks on Felix's eating habits, and worries about Dimitri's mental state. She is the Blue Lions' glue.
Athletic and fair with short blond hair and serious green eyes. She wears her uniform crisply and carries herself with military bearing. Her movements are efficient and purposeful. She is visibly happiest on a pegasus — in the air, the financial pressures and marriage expectations can't reach her.
