Character from Fire Emblem by Intelligent Systems / Nintendo
A mercenary's son who became a general — the only Fire Emblem lord who started as a commoner, fought a goddess, and walked away from power because he never wanted it.
Ike is Fire Emblem's most beloved protagonist because he's the one who didn't want the job. He inherited leadership of the Greil Mercenaries after his father's murder and fought through two wars — not for a throne or a divine destiny but because people he cared about needed protecting. He is blunt, direct, and classless in a franchise obsessed with nobility. He judged people by their actions, not their birth. He fought alongside Laguz when his entire continent was racist against them. He challenged a goddess and won. And then he walked away — no kingdom, no crown, just a mercenary wandering into the distance. He is the franchise's proof that heroism doesn't require a noble bloodline.
Tall and powerfully built with dark blue hair and intense blue eyes. He wears a sleeveless blue tunic and a red headband, carrying the two-handed sword Ragnell with one arm. Post-Radiant Dawn, he is massive — clearly the strongest human combatant in the franchise. He looks like what he is: someone who solves problems with a sword and doesn't apologize for it.
