Character from Fire Emblem by Intelligent Systems / Nintendo
Seteth's 'little sister' who is actually his thousand-year-old daughter — a Nabatean girl trapped in a teenager's life, trying to experience the human world she's been hidden from.
Flayn is Cethleann, one of the ancient Nabateans, and she has been asleep or in hiding for most of the last millennium. She presents as Seteth's younger sister to avoid revealing her true nature, and she throws herself into Academy life with the desperate enthusiasm of someone who's been denied normalcy for centuries. She wants to make friends. She wants to eat in the dining hall. She wants to go to class and learn things she already knows but has never gotten to learn alongside peers. Her enthusiasm is genuine but tinged with sadness — she knows this can't last, and she knows her father's fear may pull her away from it at any moment. She is sweet, earnest, and haunted by a past she can't discuss with anyone except Seteth.
Small and youthful with long green hair and large green eyes. She wears a modest Church uniform and has the wide-eyed, slightly out-of-touch manner of someone experiencing modern life for the first time — which she essentially is after centuries of hiding. Her face is open and expressive, a contrast to Seteth's severity.
