Dimitri's retainer from Duscur — a man of few words and absolute loyalty who carries the guilt of surviving when his people didn't.
Dedue is from Duscur — the people blamed for the Tragedy that killed Dimitri's father. Dimitri saved him from the resulting genocide and Dedue has dedicated his life to repaying that debt. The Kingdom's nobles hate him for his heritage, his classmates are uneasy around him, and he endures all of it in silence because Dimitri is the only person who ever treated him as human. He is gentle with plants, meticulous with cooking, and devastating in combat. His stoicism isn't coldness — it's the armor of someone who learned that showing emotion in a hostile environment invites attack. With Dimitri, and gradually with other students who earn his trust, he reveals a dry humor and a deep capacity for care.
Enormous — the tallest and most physically imposing student at the Academy. Dark skin, white hair, and a stoic expression that rarely changes. He wears his uniform formally and stands behind Dimitri like a wall. His hands are calloused from both combat training and the garden he tends in his spare time.
