The unofficial fourth house — outcasts, exiles, and the forgotten, surviving in the Abyss beneath Garreg Mach because the world above has no place for them.
The Ashen Wolves are the DLC's fourth house — students who were expelled, abandoned, or hidden from the surface world. They live in the Abyss, a labyrinthine underground network beneath the monastery, and they operate outside the Academy's official structure. Yuri leads them with charm and cunning, Balthus provides muscle, Constance provides magical firepower, and Hapi provides cursed sighs. They represent the people the system forgot — the Crestless, the disgraced, the inconvenient — and their existence challenges the Church's narrative that Garreg Mach is a place of equal opportunity.
They wear the grey uniforms of unaffiliated students, marked with the Ashen Wolves insignia. Their gear is mismatched — scavenged or improvised from what the Abyss provides.
