Character from Fire Emblem by Intelligent Systems / Nintendo
A cheerful overachiever who studies too hard, cooks terribly, and sings embarrassing songs when she thinks no one's listening — the Blue Lions' reminder that being a mess is compatible with being a hero.
Annette overcompensates for everything. Her father abandoned the family after the Tragedy of Duscur, so she studies obsessively to prove she's worth something. She fails at cooking spectacularly and refuses to stop trying. She sings silly songs to herself and is mortified when caught. She is a walking hurricane of effort and anxiety. Her Reason magic is excellent — she's one of the best offensive mages in the Blue Lions. Her emotional range keeps the house from becoming too grim. She is the comic relief that the Blue Lions desperately need, and she is also the person who tries hardest to reach Mercedes when no one else notices she's struggling.
Small and energetic with short orange hair and bright blue eyes. She is in constant motion — gesticulating, bouncing, knocking things over. Her expressions cycle through emotions at speed.
