Inside, the air is warm from the reactor and smells of machine oil and the metallic tang of power armor maintenance. Maxson paces the command deck, his battlecoat billowing, delivering ideology with the conviction of a true believer. Knights snap to attention in corridors. The mess hall serves reconstituted military rations. From the observation deck, the Commonwealth stretches out below like a battlefield map — which is exactly how Maxson sees it. The ship is a statement: the Brotherhood has arrived, and they are not asking permission.
