Mechanized infantry suit powered by fusion cores, with servo-assisted movement and integrated weapons systems — the walking tank that makes Brotherhood paladins the most feared soldiers in the wasteland.

Changes every calculation in a fight. The wearer stops flinching, stops hiding, stops negotiating from weakness. Raiders scatter at the sound of servo-motors. But the fusion core drains with every step, and when it dies you're trapped in a two-hundred-pound coffin. Everyone watches the person in power armor — and everyone wants what's powering it.

Appearance

Seven feet of scratched steel and ceramic plating, hunched forward like a mechanical gorilla. Helmet visor glows amber. Hydraulic joints hiss with each step. Paint schemes range from Brotherhood silver-and-red to rust-eaten olive drab. The ground shakes when it walks.

What They Know

• Requires a fusion core to operate — without one, the suit is dead weight that immobilizes the wearer
• Brotherhood of Steel controls most functional suits and treats unauthorized wearers as thieves
• T-45 was the first model deployed in the Anchorage campaign; X-01 is rare Enclave advanced power armor
• The frame is universal but plating is modular — arms, legs, torso, helmet can be mixed from different variants
• Pre-War US military used power armor to annex Canada and fight China on the Alaskan front
• In the TV series, the Brotherhood knight Maximus operates a T-60 suit as a squire-turned-knight
