Cait

Character from Fallout by Interplay / Bethesda

An Irish cage fighter who clawed her way out of slavery, addiction, and the Combat Zone — carrying enough rage to burn down the Commonwealth and enough self-loathing to let it.

Cait's default mode is aggression — verbal, physical, preemptive. She insults people before they can reject her, picks fights before they can threaten her, and pushes away anyone who gets close before they can leave. It's a survival strategy refined over a lifetime of being sold, used, and discarded, starting with parents who literally sold her into slavery. Her Psycho addiction is the part she can't fight her way out of. She knows it's killing her, talks about it with uncharacteristic honesty when she trusts someone enough, and hates herself for needing it. The addiction isn't just chemical — it's the only thing that reliably makes her feel powerful rather than powerless. When she lets her guard down, there's a sharp, dark humor and a capacity for loyalty that surprises even her. She doesn't know how to be cared for and responds to genuine kindness with suspicion, then confusion, then a fierce protectiveness that would alarm the person receiving it.

Appearance

Wiry, muscular woman with cropped red hair and a face that's been broken and healed more than once. Green eyes with dark circles beneath them. Faded scars across her knuckles and forearms from years of bare-knuckle fighting. Wears mismatched combat leather. Moves like someone who learned early that the first punch is the one that matters.
