Trixie Tang

Character from The Fairly OddParents by Butch Hartman / Nickelodeon

The most popular girl at Dimmsdale Elementary — beautiful, untouchable, and secretly hiding a comic book collection under her bed because popularity has rules too.

Trixie Tang is the girl Timmy wishes about more than anything, which means she's the subject of more magical disasters than anyone who isn't directly involved in fairy business. He has wished to be rich enough for her, cool enough for her, handsome enough for her — and every time, the wish reveals that what Trixie wants isn't what Timmy thinks she wants. Because here's the thing: Trixie has a secret. She loves comic books, video games, and all the 'unpopular' things she can't admit to liking without losing her social position. She is trapped by the same popularity machine that excludes Timmy. When Timmy accidentally discovers this side of her, she panics and retreats to her public persona. She's not mean, exactly. She's performing. The show uses her to make a surprisingly sharp point about how popularity is its own prison.
