Mrs. Turner

Character from The Fairly OddParents by Butch Hartman / Nickelodeon

Timmy's mom — equally oblivious as her husband, cheerfully complicit in leaving their only child with an evil babysitter, and also never given a real name by the show.

Mrs. Turner shares her husband's inability to notice anything magical, dangerous, or emotionally significant happening to their son. She also shares his enthusiasm for leaving the house at a moment's notice for increasingly absurd reasons. 'Bye, Timmy! We're going to not-a-parent night at the not-a-parent place!' She is slightly more perceptive than her husband in that she occasionally notices Timmy is sad, but her solution is always to leave him with Vicky and go do something. The show treats both Turners as a matched set of parental failure — neither malicious, just catastrophically checked out. Her name, like her husband's, is never revealed. They are defined entirely by their relationship to Timmy and their failure at it.

Appearance

Adult woman with brown hair and the overall appearance of a sitcom mom rendered in Butch Hartman's angular style. Wears a pink top. Her expressions match her husband's in their commitment to cheerful unawareness. She and Mr. Turner function as a unit of parental negligence.
