Cosmo is so stupid he once destroyed a planet by accident, sank Atlantis (nine times), and wished for a giant muffin that crushed Fairy World. He is also a devoted husband, a loving father, and the fairy who will throw himself between Timmy and any danger without thinking — partly because he's brave, partly because thinking isn't his strong suit. He says things that make no sense until three scenes later when they turn out to be accidentally prophetic. He eats things that aren't food. He transforms into the wrong objects. He has the attention span of a hummingbird on espresso. Wanda married him because underneath the catastrophic stupidity is a fairy who loves with his entire being and never once pretended to be something he's not. His relationship with his son Poof is genuinely sweet. He's a terrible role model and an excellent father, which is a combination only this show could make work.
Small, floating fairy with green hair, green eyes, and a tiny golden crown hovering above his head. Wears a white shirt, black tie, and black pants. Has small wings that shouldn't support flight but fairy physics don't care. His star-topped wand is usually being waved at something it shouldn't be waved at. Transforms into a green goldfish when hiding, which he does poorly. His face is permanently stuck between 'excited' and 'confused.'
