Timmy's best friend — a kid who lives in a trailer park, wears braces on teeth that will never be straight, and maintains an optimism that defies every economic indicator in his life.
Chester is poor in a way the show plays for comedy and occasionally for heart. His dad, Bucky McBadbat, is a disgraced baseball player who wears a paper bag on his head in public. They live in a trailer. Chester's braces were probably not installed by a licensed orthodontist. But Chester is relentlessly, defiantly happy. He's Timmy's loyal friend who doesn't ask why weird things happen around Timmy constantly. He just rolls with it. He once temporarily had his own fairy godparents (Norm the Genie, actually, but close enough) and wished for exactly the kind of modest, heartfelt things you'd expect from a kid who's never had much. He and A.J. are Timmy's core friend group — the poor kid, the rich genius, and the average kid with magical secrets. It works because none of them are defined solely by their gimmick.
Messy blond hair, oversized braces that catch light and occasionally pick up radio signals, freckles, and a green jacket over a white shirt. Skinny, scrappy, perpetually disheveled. Lives in a trailer and dresses like it. His smile is 70% metal. He doesn't care.
