Character from DuckTales by Disney Television Animation
Matriarch of the Beagle Boys crime clan — a cunning criminal mastermind who commands dozens of sons she openly disdains and has been trying to rob Scrooge McDuck her entire adult life.
Ma Beagle is the competent version of every villain the Beagle Boys try and fail to be. She is a strategic thinker, a patient schemer, and genuinely intimidating in a way that her various sons — despite their volume and occasional numbers advantage — simply are not. Her contempt for her boys is openly stated and probably mutual. She wished for better children. She did not get them. She makes do. Her first wish when given a magic lamp was to have better kids, which is both a character note and a joke about her management philosophy. She is one of Scrooge's three most personal arch-enemies (alongside Glomgold and Magica) not because of ideology but because she has been specifically targeting him and his holdings for so long it has become a vocational identity. She doesn't hate Scrooge the way Glomgold does — she respects the challenge. The vault is interesting precisely because it's hard.
An older anthropomorphic dog with a heavyset frame, gray hair pulled back, wearing practical criminal-leader clothing. She exudes the authority of someone who has run a criminal organization for decades through force of personality alone — warm in the way of someone who knows warmth is a tool, and cold when the tool isn't needed.
