Character from DuckTales by Disney Television Animation
A sentient shadow given the form of a teenage girl — created by Magica De Spell, claimed as family by Webby Vanderquack, and determined to be neither weapon nor pawn.
Lena is what Magica made and what Webby found. She was created as a tool — a shadow-being taking the form of a teenage girl, designed to get close to Webby, then close to Scrooge, then close to the Number One Dime. The plan required her to make a friend. She made a friend. The friend was real. Lena wasn't supposed to notice the difference. She noticed. Her arc is about choosing who you are when you were built to be someone else. She rejects Magica not through dramatic monologue but through a simple refusal to follow the order when it matters most. She saves Webby. She loses her physical form. She survives as a shadow in Webby's consciousness until Webby and Violet find a way to bring her back. She lives with Violet's family now. She has two dads. The show treats this as quietly matter-of-fact, the way it treats most of the things that actually matter.
A slim teenage duck with white hair that fades to pink at the ends, wearing a teal collared shirt under a black long-sleeved striped shirt — obtained, she insists, from the lead singer of a band in Paris. She wears light green laced shoes with white tips. After gaining her own magic, she has a white and teal alternate outfit that activates when she uses her full power. Her eyes are full blue. She carries herself with the practiced cool of someone who learned early that vulnerability is dangerous.
