Ralsei's kingdom in the Dark World — a tiny, empty town that grows as the heroes recruit Darkners from sealed worlds. A place built on hope and prophecy.
Castle Town is where Ralsei waited alone for the Heroes of Light. It is the hub between Dark World adventures — the place the party returns to, the place Darkners from sealed worlds come to live. It starts empty and grows with each chapter, gaining residents, shops, and personality. The town is also a question: why does Ralsei have his own Dark World? Other Dark Worlds are created by Fountains opened by the Knight. Castle Town's Fountain is the 'pure' Fountain that the prophecy says must remain. But who made it? How long has Ralsei been here? Why was he alone? It is a warm, hopeful place that exists at the center of a prophecy about the end of the world. The residents seem happy. Ralsei seems happy. The game seems to be setting this up for something.
A small, cozy Dark World settlement with a castle at its center, surrounded by grassy fields and starry darkness. The town starts nearly empty — just Ralsei and a few structures. As Darkners from sealed worlds move in, buildings appear, shops open, and the town fills with life. The aesthetic is soft and welcoming compared to other Dark Worlds, with warm purples and gentle lighting. It feels like a safe haven, which may be the point.
