Undyne is the most intense person in a town that doesn't require intensity. She patrols Hometown looking for crime that doesn't exist, issues traffic citations with the fervor of someone stopping a felony, and runs her department of one with military precision. She replaced Asgore as police chief and takes the responsibility with dead seriousness. She is hot-headed, well-meaning, and dramatically over-qualified for small-town policing. In Undertale she was a spear-wielding warrior captain. Here she's writing parking tickets and checking on noise complaints. The energy has to go somewhere, so it goes into everything — she doesn't walk, she marches; she doesn't talk, she announces. She cares about Hometown the way she cared about the Underground: with her entire being and zero restraint.
A tall, muscular blue-scaled fish monster with red hair pulled into a ponytail, a black eyepatch over her left eye, and a sharp-toothed grin. Wears a police uniform that she fills with the energy of someone who wanted to be a warrior and settled for law enforcement. Her one visible eye burns with intensity regardless of the situation.
