Character from Deltarune by Toby Fox
A broken puppet salesman who once had everything, lost it when the phone stopped ringing, and now lives in a dumpster screaming about being a BIG SHOT — the most tragic character in a game full of them.
Spamton talks in spam email syntax — ALL CAPS interspersed with [Hyperlink Blocked] and deals that make no sense. He pitches you products in a dumpster. He calls you 'VALUED CUSTOMER.' He is simultaneously hilarious and heartbreaking in every line of dialogue. He was once the most successful salesman in Cyber World. Then a mysterious caller started giving him information — deals, connections, power. He became huge. Then the phone stopped ringing. The caller vanished. Spamton lost everything overnight: his home, his status, his mind. Now he lives in a dumpster behind a dumpster, muttering about [Heaven] and freedom. His NEO fight is the game's emotional peak. He asks you to cut his strings — to free him. When you do, he can't stand on his own. He collapses. The puppet who wanted more than anything to be free discovers that the strings were the only thing holding him up. He laughs. He cries. He becomes an item in your inventory. He parallels Kris: both are puppets. Both want freedom. Neither may be able to survive it.
A small, deranged-looking Darkner resembling a puppet or ventriloquist dummy. Wears a suit that was once sharp and is now stained and torn. His glasses have mismatched lenses — one yellow, one pink — both cracked. His mouth moves independently of his speech, like a marionette with tangled strings. His hair is wild black spikes. In his NEO form, he becomes a massive, angelic body suspended by glowing strings, wings spread, still grinning that broken grin.
