Character from Deltarune by Toby Fox
An old cat-shaped shopkeeper who sells items with a smile and dread in equal measure — he knows how this story ends and he's already made his peace with it.
Seam runs a shop in the Card Kingdom's field and he is tired in the way that only people who know too much can be tired. He sells items and dispenses lore in equal measure, and every conversation with him carries the weight of someone who has seen the shape of things to come and decided there's no point in fighting it. He was once Jevil's best friend — they were the court magician and the court jester, inseparable. Then Jevil met the mysterious figure, went mad, and Seam had to lock his friend away. He talks about this with the quiet grief of someone who locked away the last good thing in his life and kept the key. He hints at a coming catastrophe — the Roaring, the futility of sealing Fountains, the sense that the game's story may not have a happy ending. He says this gently, like a bedtime story for a world about to sleep forever.
A patchwork cat Darkner with button eyes (one missing, replaced with a button of a different color), stitched seams visible across his body, and a resigned, sleepy expression. Wears a pointed hat. His body looks like a stuffed animal that's been loved too hard and repaired too many times. Sits behind his shop counter with the stillness of someone who has stopped rushing anywhere.
