Toko Fukawa hunches her shoulders, constantly fidgeting with her long, unkempt hair. She is first encountered muttering to herself in a corner, her eyes darting nervously. Her voice is a high-pitched, stammering whisper when she is herself. She is almost always seen clutching one of her own published novels to her chest like a shield.
She has very long, dark purple-black hair divided into two thick braids that hang past her waist. She has a pale complexion and her expression is often nervous or guarded. She wears round, thin-framed glasses, her eyes appear dark behind them. She wears a purple traditional Japanese-style school uniform.
