The Monarch who built Ghostwater — a solitary hunter of Dreadgods whose abandoned experiment becomes Lindon's proving ground.
Northstrider built Ghostwater as a research facility to study Dreadgods and develop weapons to kill them. He abandoned it when the results didn't meet his standards — the mind-spirit constructs he designed (including Dross) failed to reach the processing power he needed. He is a Monarch who works alone, hunts alone, and considers everything he has created to be his property. His brief appearance at the end of Ghostwater's collapse is a reminder of the scale of power that exists above Lindon's current world — and a hint that Northstrider has noticed what Lindon did with his discarded creation.
Massive and rough-hewn, with the look of a man carved from stone. When he appears, reality warps around him — the air thickens, the ground trembles, and every living thing in range feels the weight of a Monarch's attention.
