The EPF Phone replaced the Spy Phone after the Popcorn Explosion ended the PSA. You received it after passing the entrance test at the Everyday Phoning Facility — a test disguised as a mundane phone company application. The EPF Phone could do everything the Spy Phone did, plus access Field-Ops missions and receive direct communications from The Director. Carrying the EPF Phone meant you were in. You were an agent. In a game about penguin parties and puffle care, having a spy phone in your inventory made you feel like the coolest penguin on the island.
A more advanced version of the Spy Phone, bearing EPF insignia instead of PSA markings. Sleeker design with additional functionality. The screen displays mission updates, Field-Ops assignments, and messages from The Director. It glows faintly when a new mission is available.
