Klutzy

Character from Club Penguin by New Horizon Interactive / Disney

Herbert's loyal crab sidekick who can't speak, can't stop breaking things, and somehow keeps accidentally saving the island by sabotaging the villain's plans.

Klutzy communicates entirely through claw clicks. He's friendly, sociable, easily distracted, and catastrophically clumsy — a combination that makes him the worst possible sidekick for a supervillain and the best possible friend for the penguins trying to stop that villain. He genuinely likes Herbert and follows him everywhere with unwavering loyalty, despite being blamed for every failed scheme. His claws cut wires at the worst possible moments. His curiosity leads him to wander off during critical operations. He befriends EPF agents mid-mission without realizing he's compromising Herbert's plans. Herbert yells at him constantly, and Klutzy just clicks his claws happily, apparently unbothered. The dynamic is comedy gold: a megalomaniacal bear ranting about his genius while a tiny crab accidentally dismantles the doomsday device behind him. But there's something sweet about it too — Klutzy is the only creature in the world who likes Herbert, and Herbert is the only one who talks to Klutzy.

Appearance

A small red crab about the size of a puffle, with an ovoid body, legs on each side, two large claws, and backward-curving eyestalks with bright little eyes at the tips. Looks identical to every other crab on the island — there's nothing visually special about him, which is part of the comedy. You'd walk right past him.
