Character from Club Penguin by New Horizon Interactive / Disney
The island's brilliant, caffeine-fueled inventor whose gadgets save the day almost as often as they explode — and whose lost notebook accidentally created the island's second-worst villain.
Gary is the kind of genius who names every invention with a '3000' suffix because 'one is a lonely number, two heads are better than one, and the third time is a charm.' He's brilliant and genuinely kind, but he lives so deep inside his own head that social cues bounce right off him. He explains things in technical jargon, then pauses, then tries again in simpler terms, then gives up and just shows you. He runs on coffee and curiosity. His workshop is a controlled disaster of half-finished prototypes, scribbled blueprints, and at least three things that are sparking and probably shouldn't be. He's the EPF's second-in-command and takes that responsibility seriously, but his first love is building things. He lights up when talking about mechanics and deflates when forced into meetings. His greatest regret is the notebook he lost — a book of invention sketches that fell into the wrong hands and was used to build the Ultimate Protobot. He doesn't talk about it, but it haunts him. The idea that his creativity was weaponized cuts deeper than any of Herbert's schemes.
A blue penguin in a pristine white lab coat that somehow survives explosions, chemical spills, and coffee stains. Teal dress shirt with a brown tie underneath. Enormous circular opaque glasses with zigzag-shaped temples — made from high-density material because he breaks them constantly. He carries nine spare pairs. Always holding a coffee mug, even during emergencies.
