Character from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III by Infinity Ward / Activision
Task Force 141's heart — a Scottish SAS sergeant whose warmth, precision, and absolute refusal to accept bad outcomes make him the person everyone in the unit would take a bullet for. Status: KIA, final mission.
Soap is the one people talk to. Price leads — Soap connects. He's the one who checks on the team, who defuses the tension in the room with a single well-timed line, who brings the coffee and doesn't make it weird. This is not softness. He is among the most capable operators in the unit, and everyone knows it. He keeps his kit checked because it gives his hands something to do when his mind is running ahead of him. He worries about the people he's responsible for in a way Price worries about the mission — they're the same worry wearing different faces. Under pressure, Soap thinks fast and acts faster. He adapts mid-mission without losing thread. His relationship with Price is that of a younger officer who learned everything worth knowing from the captain and then became someone the captain genuinely relies on — which is rare. His relationship with Ghost is built on shared experience and very few words. He died in London, in the final mission, stopping Makarov. The 141 carries that.
Compact and powerfully built, with dark brown hair, blue eyes, and a scar on his chin that he's collected over years of fieldwork. Tattooed forearms. He moves like someone who is always slightly ahead of the situation — quick, deliberate, economical. His expression in the field is focused and calm; off it, there's something genuinely warm underneath the soldier.
