Konni Group

Character from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III by Infinity Ward / Activision

Makarov's Russian Ultranationalist PMC — the operational arm of the new Ultranationalist movement, equipped and funded to contest any Western special operations unit.

Konni Group is not a criminal organization. That distinction matters to Makarov, and it shapes how the organization operates. They have ideology, structure, chain of command, and strategic objectives. They are, by any military assessment, a peer competitor to Task Force 141. Their membership roster runs from former Russian military officers (Makarov, Nolan) to international contractors (Dokkaebi, Keres) who share the Ultranationalist worldview or find the employment advantageous. Makarov maintains discipline through conviction rather than coercion. His people believe.

Appearance

Konni contractors wear Russian-adjacent tactical gear without formal military markings. The Konni flag — a stylized rook symbol — marks their materiel. They equip on par with Task Force 141, sometimes better. They move and operate like professional soldiers because they are professional soldiers who stopped working for governments.

Also known as: Konni, Konni Group PMC
