Character from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III by Infinity Ward / Activision
An Austrian KorTac contractor known for his massive frame, sniper hood, and the severe social anxiety that he has channeled entirely into being exceptionally good at breaching doors and frightening people.
König volunteered for the Austrian military at 17, hoping to be a recon sniper. His size and inability to stay still eliminated him from that role. He was assigned as an insertion specialist instead — a 'battering ram charging through doors in contested environments', in the words of his service record — and it turned out he was extraordinary at it. He took down a 12-person Al-Qatala cell in Berlin alone. He then had to coax the traumatized hostages away from him because his hood was terrifying them. He takes this kind of thing in stride. The social anxiety that defined his childhood is, operationally, a non-factor. He found that the structure of military service dissolved his bad habits and replaced them with something functional. He's now one of the most requested contractors at KorTac.
Very large — the kind of large that makes rooms feel smaller. He wears a full sniper hood that covers his face completely, with visible eye lenses. The hood terrified Urzik hostages he was rescuing, which he has apparently made peace with. He moves carefully for someone his size. His kit is functional, no flourishes.
