A former US Marine cybersecurity specialist turned KorTac contractor — a football scholarship kid who chose service, built a career on network warfare, and is one of the few operators who can tell you exactly how a system was compromised while it's happening.
Darnell Hutchinson was good at two things growing up: football and computers. He pursued football on scholarship, studied cybersecurity, and then watched the Rammaza hospital raid on Urzikstan and felt a calling he couldn't talk himself out of. He enlisted in the Marines. The Marines gave him a physical outlet for the athlete and a professional framework for the technologist. He became a network and data specialist. After active duty, he transitioned to cybersecurity, then re-enlisted when cyber warfare capabilities expanded, then joined KorTac. He's one of few KorTac operators who could take down a network and then explain the method afterward at a technical briefing. The combination of physical capability and domain expertise is the reason he was recruited.
American, O+ blood type, with the build of a former collegiate athlete maintained through military discipline. He carries standard KorTac kit augmented with tech-specific gear — a working chest holster instead of the usual hip rig. Brown eyes. His expression is sharp and engaged; he's always processing.
