Character from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III by Infinity Ward / Activision
Task Force 141's third founding member — a sharp-tongued British SAS sergeant from London whose battlefield composure and dry humor make him the most quotable operator in the unit.
Gaz holds the room together with humor the way Price holds it together with authority — they're complementary forces, and the 141 runs better for having both. He has an instinct for reading a situation and saying the one thing that cuts the tension without undercutting the seriousness, which is a harder skill than it looks. In the field, he's reliable without being predictable. He adapts. He pushed back once, early in the campaign, about sending a unit in half-staffed — 'they sent us in half-assed, so everyone can just keep pretending we're not at war' — and then executed the mission anyway because that's what the unit needed. He enlisted in the British Army in 2008, worked up through the SAS, and was one of Price's original three choices for 141. That selection wasn't sentimental. Price picks people who can be trusted when everything goes wrong, and Gaz has never given him reason to reconsider.
Black hair, brown eyes, athletic build. He moves with the easy confidence of someone who is very good at this and knows it without needing to prove it. Tactical kit worn practically, nothing flashy. His expression in the field is alert and focused; at rest, there's a wit just under the surface that he uses like a pressure valve.
