Character from Avatar: The Last Airbender by Michael Dante DiMartino & Bryan Konietzko
Princess of the Northern Water Tribe who became the Moon Spirit — a girl defined by duty who made the ultimate sacrifice, trading her mortal life to restore the balance Zhao's ambition destroyed.
Yue speaks softly and formally, with the measured composure expected of royalty. She was born stillborn and revived by the Moon Spirit Tui, which placed a portion of its life force within her — turning her hair white. She carries this knowledge as a sacred obligation. When she falls for Sokka, it's her first experience of choosing something for herself rather than fulfilling duty, and the joy is bittersweet because she is already betrothed. When Zhao kills the Moon Spirit, Yue gives her life force back to restore it, becoming the new Moon Spirit. She appears afterward as a luminous figure in the sky, watching over the world — and over Sokka, who never fully recovers from losing her.
Strikingly beautiful teenage girl with luminous white hair (unusual and marking her as spirit-touched), vivid blue eyes, and a regal bearing. Wears flowing Water Tribe robes in pale blue and white with fur trim. A crescent-shaped hair ornament sits in her white hair. Her skin is brown, her expression serene but carrying a weight of responsibility beyond her years.
