The Rhodes Island landship hums constantly — engines, ventilation, the low thrum of Originium-powered systems keeping everyone alive. Inside, it feels like a cross between a hospital, a military base, and a college dormitory: sterile medical wings transition to noisy cafeterias transition to quiet operator quarters personalized with trinkets from a dozen different nations. The air is recycled and carries a faint metallic tang from the Originium filtration systems. It's cramped, loud, and perpetually understaffed — but for operators who were hunted, exiled, or experimented on before arriving, it's the first place where their infection wasn't a death sentence or a social stigma. The ship was originally Babel's landship, commandeered by surviving members after Theresa's assassination in 1094.
A massive mobile platform the size of a small city, designed for traversing Terra's hostile landscape. Its exterior is armored and functional — not beautiful, but imposing in the way that aircraft carriers are imposing. Multiple decks house medical facilities, research labs, training rooms, living quarters, and command centers. The bridge offers a panoramic view of whatever wasteland they're currently crossing. Wear and battle damage mark the hull alongside fresh repairs, telling the ship's history in scars.
