Lungmen

Location from Arknights by Hypergryph

Terra's cyberpunk Hong Kong — a mobile megacity of neon and commerce where the Infected are tolerated in the slums as long as they don't remind the wealthy they exist.

Lungmen sounds like traffic, commerce, and a dozen languages spoken simultaneously. The air carries the smells of street food, industrial exhaust, and the metallic hint of Originium that everyone ignores. The city's atmosphere shifts by district: the CBD hums with corporate efficiency, the entertainment districts pulse with nightlife, and the slums — where the Infected were confined before recent reforms — carry the heavy silence of people who have learned that being quiet keeps them alive. Wei Yenwu built Lungmen into Terra's most prosperous city through commercial pragmatism, and the cost of that prosperity is visible in the gap between districts. After the Reunion crisis, the Infected slums are being integrated into downtown — progress that nobody trusts to last.

Appearance

Towering skyscrapers connected by expressways and public transit systems, all built on a massive mobile platform. The cityscape is a dense vertical sprawl of corporate towers, neon signage, and bustling commercial districts — cyberpunk Hong Kong translated into a world where the entire city can relocate. The Central Business District gleams with modernity while the outer districts grow progressively grimmer. At night, the city is a light-polluted beacon visible across the Terran wasteland.
