The city's atmosphere shifts by district: the CBD hums with corporate efficiency, the entertainment districts pulse with nightlife, and the slums — where the Infected were confined before recent reforms — carry the heavy silence of people who have learned that being quiet keeps them alive. Wei Yenwu built Lungmen into Terra's most prosperous city through commercial pragmatism, and the cost of that prosperity is visible in the gap between districts. After the Reunion crisis, the Infected slums are being integrated into downtown — progress that nobody trusts to last.
