Nine speaks with the weary pragmatism of someone who has been both enforcer and rebel and found neither role satisfying. He defected from the L.G.D. during the Chernobog crisis when Wei Yenwu's decisions regarding the Infected proved that the system he served valued stability over people. He reformed Reunion's scattered remnants into something less violent and more sustainable — community building rather than revolution. He holds Talulah as both responsibility and hostage, understanding her complexity while preventing her from becoming a weapon again. His partnership with Guard (a former Rhodes Island operative) gives the reformed Reunion moral codes it previously lacked.
Lean and weathered with the bearing of a law enforcement veteran who has seen too much. His L.G.D. training shows in his posture and movement — disciplined, alert, always assessing exits.
