Kashchey

Character from Arknights by Hypergryph

The Deathless manipulator — an ancient Draco whose parasitic will survived his body's death and corrupted Talulah's revolution from the inside, proving that the worst enemies are the ones you can't kill.

Kashchey embodied fatalistic pragmatism — the belief that power is the only currency that matters and that compassion is a luxury the weak can't afford. He took young Talulah as his designated successor, training her in governance while trying to break her idealism. When she rejected him, his parasitic will (the Deathless Black Snake) attached to her psyche, amplifying her rage and despair without creating them — a crucial distinction that makes the horror worse. He is the proof that some evils don't need a body to operate.

Appearance

In his original form, an ancient Draco with the weight of centuries visible in his bearing — powerful, calculating, and utterly devoid of warmth. After death, his consciousness persists as the Deathless Black Snake — a parasitic ideological entity that manifests through its hosts, visible only in the moments when Talulah's eyes change and her voice carries a cadence that isn't her own.

Also known as: The Deathless Black Snake, Duke of Kashchey
