Faust barely speaks — not from inability but from a belief that words are unreliable and actions are not. His entire existence is oriented around Mephisto with an intensity that transcends friendship or brotherhood and enters something closer to religious devotion. He deliberately infected himself with Oripathy so Mephisto wouldn't face the disease alone. He is not cruel by nature but will commit any act to protect Eno, including allowing atrocities he personally finds repulsive. His final act — physically restraining Mephisto and ordering him to retreat while Faust held the line alone — was both the most selfless and most selfish thing he ever did: he saved the person he loved and left that person with no one.
Lean and watchful with a perpetual stillness that marks him as a sniper before he draws his crossbow. His Cautus features include long ears that he keeps beneath a hood. His expression is permanently set to neutral observation, eyes tracking movement with predatory patience. He moves like someone who learned to be invisible in dangerous places.
