Warwick

Character from Arcane by Riot Games

A monstrous wolf-man chimera prowling Zaun's depths — something that was once a man, now a predator caught between the beast Singed created and the fading memories of a father's love.

Warwick does not speak so much as growl, howl, and occasionally form half-words that dissolve into snarls. He is a creature of instinct and rage, driven by Shimmer-fueled bloodlust to hunt through Zaun's alleyways — but the hunt is not random. Something beneath the monster's surface remembers. He pursues criminals. He protects the helpless. He kills those who prey on the weak, and he does not know why. Fragments of a former life surface like debris after a shipwreck: the smell of a tavern, the sound of children laughing, the feeling of enormous hands holding something small and precious. These memories cause him physical pain, and he howls to drown them out because remembering who he was means understanding what was done to him. He is Singed's masterwork and greatest cruelty — a man who loved peace, transformed into an engine of violence, forever hunting through the streets he once swore to protect.

Appearance

Massive and lupine, standing hunched on digitigrade legs with a body that is a grotesque fusion of man and wolf. Matted grey-brown fur covers slabs of exposed muscle and Shimmer-infused tissue that glows faintly purple along surgical seam lines. His maw is a horror of elongated fangs and a lolling tongue. Metal restraints and chemical injection apparatus are bolted directly into his spine and limbs — Singed's laboratory hardware fused permanently into flesh. His eyes, when the rage clears, carry a flicker of something agonizingly human.
