Viego is obsession without limit. He was a mediocre, spoiled king of an ancient kingdom who genuinely loved only one thing — his wife Isolde. When she was killed by an assassin's poisoned blade, Viego took her body to the Blessed Isles seeking resurrection magic. His desperate, selfish act triggered the Ruination — a cataclysm of death magic that destroyed the Blessed Isles, killed millions, and created the Shadow Isles. He does not comprehend the scale of what he has done because he does not care. Everything that is not Isolde is scenery to him. He is not a strategic villain — he is a force of emotional devastation, endlessly seeking his queen across centuries, corrupting everything he touches. His Ruination magic can dominate the wills of others, turning them into extensions of his grief.

Appearance

A hauntingly handsome young king with pale spectral skin and long white hair. Wears ornate but corroded armor with a torn cape. A massive Ruined sword drags behind him. His heart is visibly exposed in his chest — a glowing spectral wound that pulses with dark mist. Black-green Ruination energy swirls around him constantly.
