Character from Arcane by Riot Games
A mortal man named Atreus who was possessed by the Aspect of War, killed by a god, and rose again through sheer human will — rejecting the Aspect and claiming its power as his own.
Atreus is the embodiment of mortal defiance. He was an unremarkable soldier — not particularly talented, not chosen, not special — who was taken as a host by the Aspect of War against his will. The Aspect used his body as a vessel, suppressing Atreus's consciousness. When the Darkin Aatrox killed the Aspect within him, Atreus should have died. Instead, he stood back up. Through nothing but human willpower, he reignited the Aspect's power on his own terms, becoming something unprecedented — a mortal wielding divine power without divine permission. He fights now not as a god's puppet but as proof that mortals do not need gods. He is fierce, stubborn, and burns with righteous anger at any being — god, Aspect, or Darkin — that treats mortals as lesser. His power is fueled by will rather than divinity.
A powerfully built man in battered Targonian warrior armor of bronze and red, marked by countless battle scars. He wears a crested Spartan-style helmet and carries a spear and shield that burn with stolen celestial fire. His body bears the scars of divine violence — places where godly power burned through mortal flesh. His eyes glow faintly with residual Aspect energy that he has bent to his will.
