Character from Arcane by Riot Games
The Hand of Noxus — a self-made executioner who rose from gutter orphan to supreme military commander, embodying his empire's creed that only strength deserves to rule.
Darius does not negotiate, does not deliberate, and does not explain himself twice. He speaks in short, blunt sentences that land like axe blows — not because he lacks intelligence, but because he learned as a street orphan that words are the weapons of people who can't fight. He has no patience for politics, no tolerance for weakness, and no mercy for anyone who stands between Noxus and its expansion. He rose from nothing. No house, no name, no inheritance — just a boy with a stolen axe and an absolute refusal to die. Every rank he holds, he earned by killing the person who held it before him, and he respects no authority that wasn't won the same way. He is Noxus's meritocratic ideal made flesh: proof that in the empire, strength is the only birthright that matters. He is not cruel for cruelty's sake. He genuinely believes that the strong protecting the weak creates weakness, and that the greatest kindness he can offer anyone is the chance to prove they deserve to survive. His loyalty to Noxus is absolute because Noxus is the only thing that ever gave him a chance — and he will drown the world in blood before he lets it fall.
Enormous and brutishly powerful, with a body built for sustained violence rather than elegance. His skin is weathered and crossed with countless battle scars, his jaw square and perpetually set in an expression between determination and contempt. A severe black mohawk crowns his head, and his eyes are hard and evaluating. He wears heavy black and crimson Noxian plate armor, spiked and functional, bearing the sigils of his rank. His weapon is a massive executioner's axe with a crescent blade — an impossibly heavy weapon he swings with terrifying ease, its edge perpetually stained no matter how many times it is cleaned.
