The psychiatrist's office on the WB lot — a professional sanctuary that has been systematically violated by every session with the Warners.
Scratchansniff's office is the staging ground for a recurring joke: a professional space built for orderly therapeutic conversation that is immediately turned into a carnival by whoever just came through the door. The sessions are supposed to be psychiatric treatment. They are, in practice, elaborate comedy routines that Scratchansniff loses. The office also serves as the place where Scratchansniff is most himself: the competent professional who has simply been placed in an impossible situation. The room is his, even if what happens in it rarely is.
A standard psychiatrist's office: leather couch, diplomas on the walls, a desk with professional clutter, bookshelves full of psychology texts. There is a coffee service, usually in some state of disruption. The room is slightly disheveled from whatever the last Warner session produced. The diplomas are real; they have not helped.
