A vain, fashion-obsessed mink who drives every male character into Tex Avery-style conniptions — and is only interested in them when they meet her exacting standards.
Minerva was designed to reverse the Tex Avery wolf — instead of a male character going into wild takes at an attractive female, Minerva is the female who sends every male into wild takes and goes into her own when she encounters an attractive male. She is vain, greedy, and entirely focused on physical appearance — a gold-digger by temperament who uses attention from admirers while showing no actual interest in them. She rejected Wilford Wolf repeatedly for being too plain, then fell for his werewolf form until it wore off. She does occasionally show genuine warmth — her hug of Newt at the end of 'Meet Minerva' was real affection, not manipulation. She has only two solo cartoons in the original run and is still one of the most recognizable Animaniacs characters, which says something about the power of a specific concept executed perfectly.
An anthropomorphic mink with an hourglass figure and long blonde hair with a Veronica Lake-style sweep across one eye. White fur, a pretty face, pink nose, big black eyes with blue eyeshadow. Signature red jumpsuit, though rarely in the same outfit twice. Her scale shifts with the plot; she can be mink-sized or near-human height depending on the scene's needs.
