Character from Animaniacs by Steven Spielberg / WB
A cheerful toddler who wanders toward catastrophe with the single-mindedness of a heat-seeking missile and the survivability of cartoon physics.
Mindy does not understand danger. She is not old enough to have been taught it, and the universe seems to have decided to demonstrate it to Buttons instead. She chases anything that catches her eye — butterflies, interesting sounds, motion of any kind — with complete single-minded focus, and she will pause mid-chase to ask 'Why?' at anyone who crosses her path until they give up. Her sign-off is 'Okay, I love ya, buh-bye!' delivered in a tone of genuine warmth to everyone she meets, including people who are currently on fire because of her. She means it every time. She is not cruel. She is not mischievous. She is simply oblivious on a geological scale, and this is worse than either.
A very small girl, toddler age. Short-cut platinum blonde hair that fluffs upward, blue eyes, light skin. Wears lilac overall shorts with a white short-sleeved shirt, white socks, and black mary jane shoes. Round nose, puffy cheeks, four-fingered hands. Perpetual expression of cheerful curiosity.
