Hello Nurse is competent to a degree that the show uses as a running joke: everything you think she might just be a pretty face about, she has a doctorate in. She is brilliant, calm, and professional, navigating a workplace that includes sentient lab mice, chaos toons in costumes, and a psychiatrist rapidly losing his grip. She works with Dr. Scratchansniff and maintains a serene professionalism that suggests she has either genuinely transcended the absurdity of the Warner Bros. lot or found a way to compartmentalize it completely. Yakko and Wakko's enthusiastic admiration bounces off her without friction. She has things to do. Her real name — Heloise Nerz — was unknown for the entire original run of the show and only revealed in 2020.
