A crooked, ancient cottage deep in the forest where a being older than the courts spins the threads of fate and death on a loom that hums with the Cauldron's own power.
This is no ordinary home but a place of ancient, terrible power, where the Weaver — a creature of the Cauldron's own making — sits at her loom day and night, spinning thread from the lives of those who wander too close. The cottage is a trap as much as a dwelling, its door never locked, its hearth always lit, and the sound of the loom's clack is the only warning a visitor gets before the Weaver's attention turns to them. To enter is to risk being woven into her tapestry, a thread of silk and bone that will hang on her wall for eternity.
The cottage leans into the earth as if it grew there, its walls a patchwork of mossy stone and gnarled timber, roofed in thatch so thick and dark it seems to drink the light. Smoke the color of old bone curls from a crooked chimney, and the windows glow with a faint, sickly amber that does not warm the ground beneath them. Around it, the forest draws back in a perfect circle of bare earth, as though the trees themselves refuse to come closer than they must.
