Faebane is the mortal world's most potent weapon against the fae — a poison that does not merely sicken the body but strangles the magic in the blood. A pinch can silence a High Lord's fire; a draught can leave a faerie helpless as a human child. It is brewed in secret, traded in fear, and used only when the desperate have no other choice.

Appearance

A pale, sickly-green powder ground from the dried leaves and roots of a low, thorny plant that grows only in the shadow of the Wall. It has a bitter, metallic scent that clings to the fingers and a faint luminescence when exposed to moonlight, as if the poison itself is a mockery of faerie light.
