What They Know

The Cauldron predates the seven courts and the High Fae themselves; it is the source from which the Mother poured the world.
It can Make or Unmake anything — life, magic, even the fabric of reality — and its power is absolute, bound by no law but its own.
The Cauldron was stolen from the King of Hybern by Feyre and her companions during the war, and it now rests in the Night Court, hidden and guarded.
To be Made by the Cauldron — as Nesta and Elain Archeron were — is to be remade into something fae, but the process leaves a mark on the soul that cannot be erased.
The Cauldron is tied to the Dread Trove: the Mask, the Crown, and the Harp were Made from it, and they can be used to control or channel its power.
