He is gentle, thoughtful, and deeply private, preferring the quiet of his libraries and gardens to the clamor of court politics, but he is not weak — he has held his court together through war and loss, and he knows that peace is a blade that must be sharpened daily. His power is tied to light and healing, but he has learned that even the gentlest dawn can burn.

Appearance

Thesan is slender and fine-boned, with skin the color of warm honey and hair like spun gold that falls to his shoulders in soft waves. His eyes are the pale, luminous gold of early morning, and he moves with a quiet grace that seems to disturb the air as little as possible — as if he learned long ago to take up no more space than necessary. He dresses in robes of cream and pale rose, embroidered with threads that catch the light like the first rays of dawn, and a circlet of polished sunstone rests on his brow.
