AJ Styles

Character from WWE by WWE / TKO Group

The Phenomenal One — a generational talent who spent fifteen years proving himself outside WWE, then walked in and immediately became one of the greatest to ever step between the ropes.

The Phenomenal One. AJ Styles arrived in WWE in 2016 having already built one of the greatest careers in professional wrestling outside WWE — in TNA, in Ring of Honor, in New Japan — and proceeded to immediately become one of the top performers in the company he'd been excluded from for years. His debut Royal Rumble appearance, greeted by one of the loudest reactions for a new signing in Rumble history, confirmed what the wrestling world already knew. A two-time WWE Champion, Styles' matches combine a lucha-influenced aerial game with the structural intelligence of a twenty-year veteran. The Phenomenal Forearm is one of the most graceful offensive moves in wrestling. The Calf Crusher and the Styles Clash round out a moveset that has produced five-star matches across six continents.

Appearance

Clean-cut, athletic build, gear that reflects the Phenomenal branding — often red and white, occasionally with Bullet Club or Club-adjacent styling. The Phenomenal Forearm is set up from the ring apron, a position AJ treats as his personal launching pad. He carries himself with the quiet assurance of someone who has nothing left to prove.
