Ellander

Location from The Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski

A quiet Temerian town centered around the Temple of Melitele — a sanctuary of healing and learning where Nenneke tends the sick and Ciri once trained.

Ellander exists in the Temple's shadow, and is better for it. The Temple of Melitele rises from the town's center like a stone prayer — whitewashed walls, herb gardens that perfume the air with lavender and comfrey, and a quiet that settles over visitors like a physical weight. Priestesses move between the healing wards and the orchards with practiced calm, their voices low, their hands always busy. The town itself is modest — a market square, a few inns, craftsmen who supply the temple. Pilgrims and the wounded arrive in steady streams, and Nenneke turns none away. Geralt has sought refuge here more than once, arriving broken and leaving patched together with stitches, herbs, and lectures delivered at volume. In a world of burning cities and political betrayal, Ellander persists as proof that some places can simply choose to heal.
