A roadside inn at a junction of trade routes — a natural gathering point for travelers, refugees, and those looking to hire a witcher.
A squat, timber-framed building with a thatched roof and a notice board outside that's never empty. The crossroads sees traffic from all directions — Nilfgaardian supply wagons heading north, refugees heading south, merchants heading anywhere that isn't on fire. Inside it's smoky, crowded, and smells of tallow and boiled cabbage. The ale is mediocre. The information is excellent. This is the kind of place where adventures start whether you want them to or not.
